WILL TRUMP HELP?

On a related note, Chris Krych's story is featured in a new article cover the MSOP Moose Lake facility at http://www.oncefallen.com/msop_moose_lake.html

"I think I'm being asked to try another avenue of punishment when he's done his time, and that troubles me."

This letter is a summary of his journey from prison to halfway house to civil commitment,
an arbitrary process.

Mr. Krych shares even minor incidents to show that MN-MSOP residents aren't much different
than prison inmates.

Shut Down MN-DHS Death Camp

Chris asked me to post these three pages together. Enclosed is a letter from James R. Poole and a petition signed by 75 members of the internment camp.

Arbitrary political punishment at the "Behavioral Therapy Unit"

Mr. Krych's latest offering may have similar sounding headlines but they each document separate instances of misconduct by the MN-MSOP. An update to the previous post, Mr. Krych was found not guilty of felony destruction of property by a jury, though he was found guilty of misdemeanor destruction of property. Despite the felony charge, Chris had to represent himself against the establishment.

Krych-- Request for a single bunk

Krych's latest letter is a request for a single room. Not everyone in the MSOP are predators with uncontrollable behaviors; some are there as a result of politics more than anything. Click on the document to enlarge it.

Letter to the Editor: "The MSOP's Cost-Efficiency Trade-off"

In Mr. Krych's latest letter to me, Chris sends a copy of a letter to the editor he wrote last month, so I thought I'd share it here:

It is interesting to note there is a news story on the rape of an inmate of the program, something Krych has mentioned on this blog.

Krych's Call for Civil Commitment Re-evaluation

Krych admits to his past but argues the involuntary civil commitment is unwarranted. As always, click on the page to read the full size copy:

Krych's four conditions of confinement concerns 08/12/2010

Here is another letter from Mr. Krych. It seems that much like prison, he is reporting harassment from certain guard for his writ writing. Apparently he got in a little trouble for calling a guard a "retard." Apparently from what he wrote in his letter, he's had problems with this particular guard in the past.

The notarized letter is a list of grievances he has with the conditions of confinement:

Chris's Letter "Therapeutical 'Tax Dollars' Hard At Work

Below is another letter Chris asked me to post on his behalf. This time, it is written in his own handwriting rather than by type this time. In reading this letter, it is hard to believe he is in a civil commitment center; it sounds more like a prison. As always, click on the page to read the entire page:
